when we design jewelry, we take responsibility from the entire supply chain, from the people and partners we work with to the precious materials we source. quality, creative protection, respect, health and safety, human rights, fair labor, governance and environmental protection are our core values.
we work with only 3 portuguese jewelry suppliers in a transparent way. we visit their factories, we know the people and the families, this is how we work to create a positive impact through the production of our semi-fine jewelry.
although the production of pieces with silver and gold has evolved since then, our pieces are still handcrafted with the care of experienced goldsmiths. each piece is handcrafted to li's designs, so it takes a lot of time to bring them to life and achieve perfection.
consequently, these pieces require care in their use to guarantee that they will last a lifetime and potentially be worn for generations.
CINCO uses recycled metals and in this way we can avoid the use of new raw materials as well as reduce the social, ethical and environmental risks associated with the mining process.

although we produce for the world, we only work with three small factories in portugal, located in mira (coimbra), guimarães (porto) and gondomar (porto).

do you prioritize local suppliers?
YES! but they have to meet our standards. we work hand in hand with smaller players as they improve their sustainability processes. a good analogy is that you buy direct from the farm. your products are made by 3 real small companies in portugal that are active players in the community and produce with minimal inputs. for us this is a luxury.
